Hamburg Cove is part of the Eight Mile River which flows from Colechester southward eight miles downstream through the Cove and into the Connecticut River. It is made up of two coves, the Inner Cove where Cove Landing is located, and the Outer Cove which is one of the most charming and protected anchorages in all of New England.
Reservations are not necessary but highly recommended for weekends, holidays, and large groups. Customers with reservations will take priority over those without.

Full-Service Boatyard
Cove Landing Marine, a full-service boatyard located in Hamburg Cove has been run by John R. Leonard since 1978.
Mooring & Dockage: dockage in the beautiful and sheltered Inner Hamburg Cove for vessels up to 80 feet with an 8 1/2 foot draft. Â For vessels wishing to moor in the Outer Cove, we offer several mooring for rent.
Restorations: At Cove Landing, we specialize in every stage of restoration of both wooden boats and fiberglass. Â Over the years we have restored: Abaco, Ariadne, Brillig, Driftwood II, Duster (Sangvine), Dutchess (Stella Maris), Elska, Jenny, Golden Goose, Primrose, Wenona, and Wigeon.
Winter Storage and Maintenance: Winter in-water wet storage or on-land dry storage for vessels up to 35 tons is provided.
