Thimble Island Brewing Company was established in Branford, CT in 2010, and is conveniently located minutes from Boston Post Road (Route 1) and I-95.

We are open 7 days a week with 24 rotating tap lines, scheduled tours of our facility on the weekends, and a private event space. Our beer line-up is approachable for all types of beer drinkers. We offer classics, as well as special releases and funky casks for those adventurous beer lovers that are always looking for something new. Stop by, kick your feet up and relax in our cozy tasting room.
Thimble Island Brewery offers 24 tap lines for the craft beer lovers with a variety of flavors bound to appeal to everyone. We offer 9-core staple products as well as seasonal and speciality products in draft, bottles and cans throughout the year. We distribute our products throughout Connecticut; however, the best taste is in a glass right here in their tap room in Branford.

Our Story
Prior to the Prohibition Era, between 1920 to 1933, the United States was home to over 2,000 craft breweries. By the 1980s 100 breweries barely remained. Thimble Island Brewing Company seeks to recreate the American tradition of having a local brewery that the community can enjoy.
The founders of Thimble Island Brewery are beer enthusiasts. They produce well balanced and traditional craft beers like their American Ale, that’s full-flavored, refreshing and can be enjoyed year round.
